Q: What is the difference between My Album and the Guest Album?
A: The Guest Album is public. Photographs are placed in a common area. My Album is your private area and is accessable only with your username and password. All files added to My Album are available only to you. You have full control to add or delete at any time. Of course, you can also copy any pictures from My Album to the guest area.

Q: Why should I register?
A: When you register you can:
  • Add photographs to your own personal Album
  • Join any of the Forums you are interested in
  • Create a new Forum. This is a great place to share event or club pictures.
  • Remember - registration is free

Q: What formats can I add to My Album?
A: You can add JPEG photographs, and TIFF images, VRML (Version 1.0) 3D models, and STL (stereolithography) models. ZIP archives containing one or more of the supported formats can also be added.

JPEG is the defacto standard for photographs today. Most of today's digital cameras create JPEG format pictures. All photograph processing software, such as Adobe's Photoshop, can read and write JPEG images. TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) files are commonly created by scanners. Note, LZW compression is not supported.

Q: How does the viewing process work?

A: When you click on one the the thumbnails (small pictures) a larger view of the same picture is displayed with a Magnify button to the right of it. Use your mouse to pick 2 diagonal points defining the region you want to zoom in on then click the Magnify button and a new window will appear with a close-up look at the region you selected.
